Osie, the youngest daughter of Mrs. Samiria E. Thompson, was born in Athelson, Iowa, Sept. 28, 1893, and came with her mother to Winterset in 1909, where she died, Sunday morning, June 25, 1911, aged 17 years, 8 months and 27 days.
With the mother, three sisters, Mrs. Lena Joseph of Chicago, Mrs. Lizzie Swisher of Oklahoma, Emma who is at home and two brothers, Roscoe and Homer, both at home, mourn her death. The deceased was of a lovable disposition, a favorite with all and her beautiful life will be greatly missed in the home circle.
Funeral services were held from the home at 4 p.m. on June 26th, conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis. Interment in the Rock City cemetery.
