LILLIAN K. REIT Services Held

Services were held at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset this morning (Wednesday) for Lillian K. Reit of Des Moines, who died there last Saturday, February 15, 1975. She was 78 years of age.

Lillian K. Reit was born in Lyon County on February 14, 1897, the daughter of Hans and Magaritta Darmeir Jensen. She was married to George Reit at Sioux Falls, S.D. on March 10, 1915.

Mrs. Reit resided in Des Moines her entire lifetime, with the exception of 14 years spent in Pueblo, Colo.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Verne (Evelyn) Manchester of Des Moines, Mrs. Rival W. (Audrey) Collins of Winterset, Mrs. Lee (Doris) Hazquist of Fort Collins, Colo. And Mrs. John (Norma Jean) Abrold of Des Moines; and one son, Ivan D. Reit of Rialto, Calif.

Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Reit was preceded in death by her husband, one son, five sisters, three brothers, three half-sisters, and one half-brother.

Funeral services were held at ll:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery,.
