St. Charles News

George Mackrill died at his home, northwest of town last Wednesday, Sept. 24th, after a long and painful illness, aged about 45 years. The funeral was held in the M. E. church Saturday, conducted by Rev. W. W. Williams and his remains were laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery.

Mrs. Beaumont's Brother Dead

County Clerk and Mrs. Thomas J. Beaumont left yesterday for St. Charles, Iowa in which point they were notified by a message announcing the death of Mrs. Beaumont's brother. Geo. Mackrill. The deceased had been in poor health for a couple of years, but his death at this time was unexpected and proves a severe shock to the relatives. - Creston Plain Dealer (Thursday)
