MARTHA DAVISSON

Mrs. Martha Davisson, for many years a resident of this place, died at the home of her son, Frank, in Des Moines, on Tuesday of this week. The remains were brought here Thursday morning and the funeral services held from the M. E. Church conducted by her pastor, Rev. R. W. Matheny.

The deceased was born in Indiana in the year 1839. She was married March 26, 1868 to Rufus Davisson, also of Indiana, and to them was born one son, Frank, who lives in Des Moines.

She was an estimable woman and had many friends in this county who will learn of her death with genuine sorrow for the departure of a noble life.
