Brought to Winterset for Burial

The remains of J. J. Barcroft were brought here from Guthrie, Okla., for burial last Saturday. The funeral services conducted by the Rev. J. S. Corkey, were held at the home of his son, R. C. Barcroft, and interment was made in the Rock City cemetery.

Mr. Barcroft came to Winterset in 1883 and lived here until 1900 when he moved to Oklahoma where he died September the 8th. He was past 83 years of age and leaves a wife, one son and two daughters. Mrs. Barcroft accompanied the body here and will remain for a short visit with her son.
