“Farewell Mother, we shall miss you for a little while, then we will meet you on the other sore where we will never part again.”

“May the Lord bless the bereaved husband and children, and may we all live to meet her on the other side where sickness, sorrow or death never comes.”

The funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Peru M. E. church, conducted by Rev. W. W. Williams, in the presence of a large audience, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Peru cemetery.
