MRS. VIOLA WALKER DIES IN COLORADO

Former Resident of This County was 81 Years of Age

Mrs. Viola A. Walker, formerly of Macksburg, died Oct. 25th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Cantrell, in Englewood, Colo., it was reported here this week. She was 81 years old.

Mrs. Walker was the former Viola A. Barker, daughter of Orlendo and Lucy Barker, and was born in Madison county, March 8, 1866. She was married to William R. Walker on Sept. 8, 1886. They were the parents of eight children. The husband and two of the children preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, William Walker of Des Moines, Lester Walker of Macksburg and Ralph Walker of Denver; three daughters, Mrs. Lela Huston of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Hildred Pehick of Chugwater, Wyo., and Mrs. Cantrell of Englewood; a sister, Bettie Barker of Macksburg; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Burial was made in the Crown Hill cemetery at Denver.
