_______________

Transcriber's note: Despite the obituary details, there is ample evidence that Mrs. Chritton was born, raised (except for a short period in Kansas), and married in Madison County, Iowa, moving to Kansas after her marriage. Her parents name on their gravestone is "Hogg". Some of the children in this family changed the spelling to "Hogue". Mrs. Chritton's marriage record shows "Hogue".
