Mrs. Marilda Bullock Witt died at her home on West Court Ave. Monday at 10:30 p.m. The funeral occurred from the home Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., conducted by Rev. Atwood, and interment was made in the Bethany cemetery. Mrs. Witt was one of the pioneers of Madison county, coming here in 1869. She was one of our most highly respected ladies and was dearly loved by all who knew her. The heartfelt sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved children and relatives.
Note: Burial was made in the Bullock cemetery.
