Death of Rev. John Creger

Rev. John Creger, a pioneer of Madison county, 84 years of age, died Friday at the home of his son Frank, in Old Peru. Mr. Creger was one of Madison county’s most highly respected citizens. He had been a minister in the Christian Church for a number of years.

The funeral services occurred Sunday, conducted by Rev. L. E. Follansbee, of Des Moines, and interment was made in the Peru cemetery.
