Mrs. See, 83, dies at Peru

Funeral services for Mrs. Burl See, a long time resident of the Peru community, were held this Tuesday afternoon, December 23, from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro.

Mrs. See died Saturday, December 20 at her home near Peru. She was 83 years of age.

Cecil May See was born April 19, 1892 at Panora, Iowa, a daughter of David and Sophia Blair Brown.

She was married to Burl See on January 6, 1910 at Peru. They spent their entire married life on a farm near Peru.

Mrs. See is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Datwyler of Peru and Mrs. Phyllis Woodman of San Antonia, Texas; a son, Wendell See of Peru; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and two brothers.

Officiating at the 1:30 p.m. service Tuesday was the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was in the Peru Cemetery.
