Bev Hamner, 77, of Des Moines, died Friday at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The body has been cremated with the cremains being interred in the Winterset Cemetery.
Bev primarily lived in Indianola and later in Des Moines. She had been an assignment clerk for Qwest.
Bev is survived by her son, Michael R. (Wendy) Hamner of Altoona; brothers, Tom Kellar of Indianola and Jim Kellar of California; and grandchildren, Wesley Hamner and Morgan Hamner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey R. Hamner.
Family will receive friends an hour before her service at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home.
Memorials may be directed to her family for a future designation.
