Today, Monday, the death toll numbers four, resulting from the dreaded flu epidemic. The home of deepest sorrow is that of Mrs. Anna Allen, whose home on last Thursday was saddened by the death of her only son, Ivan, after an illness of three days. The critical condition of the other members of the household made it necessary to hold the remains for burial until Sunday but on that day, Mrs. Laura Davis suddenly succumbed to the awful disease - death claiming the second victim of the family within a few hours apart.

Deepest sympathies go out to this widowed mother in her dark hours of grief. Three other daughters remain, but their condition is very critical at this time.
