Carrie M. Goering, 91, of Grimes died of renal failure Tuesday at Perry Lutheran Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.

Mrs. Goering, a homemaker, was born in St. Charles and lived in Des Moines most of her life until moving to Grimes eight years ago. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.

Among survivors are two sons, Kenneth of Grimes and Charles of Germantown, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children burn unit.
