Richard E. Montgomery, 76, of Mendham died yesterday at home.
Services will be at 8:30 o'clock tomorrow evening in the Bailey Funeral Home Inc., 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham.
Mr. Montgomery was an internal auditor for Chubb & Son, Warren, for 31 years before retiring in 1988.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Born in Winterset, Iowa, he lived in Springfield before moving to Mendham 50 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; sons, Robert and Thomas; daughters, Kathleen Shann and Barbara Schnatter, and six grandchildren.
