Mrs. Mary Brown, a former resident of Douglas township, this county, died at her home in Des Moines Tuesday. The remains will be brought here for interment this evening. Mrs. Brown lived for many years three miles north of town and was a very estimable lady.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
