DON COLE DIES AT DALLAS, TEXAS

Donald Venemon Cole, of Dallas, Texas, former Winterset resident, died in his sleep, Sunday morning, Nov. 15, at the age of 60. Mr. Cole, had two heart attacks four years ago but had apparently recovered.

Mr. Cole, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Cole of Winterset, was born and spent his early years here, graduating from the local high school, in 1923. He had lived in Dallas, for the past eight years, and his funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, November 17th at the Walnut Hill Methodist church, in that city. Burial was at Blytheville, Arkansas.

He was a sales representative for 34 years with Hubbard company of Chicago, Illinois, and a year ago joined A. B. Chance company of Centralia, Missouri, as a special representative.

In Dallas, he was a member of the Walnut Hill Methodist church, Dallas Electric club League, Dallas Water and Woods club, the Dallas Athletic Country club, and of Al Chymia Masonic temple of Memphis, Tenn.

His survivors are his wife, a son Donald W. Cole of Dallas, and a sister, Miss Elizabeth Cole of Des Moines. Miss Elizabeth Cole and a cousin, Mrs. Ruth Snyder of Davenport, attended the funeral services in Dallas, and the graveside service at Blytheville.
