Mrs. Cena Bishop Martino, a widow lady living in the southwest part of town, died at her home this morning at about nine o’clock. Mrs. Bishop had been sick but a couple of days and early this morning was up for a few minutes.
She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bishop, old settlers well and favorably known and a sister of the Bishop Bros. Her life has been full of hard work and she was known all over the city for her ambition and industry. She leaves one grown son.
_______________________Coordinator's note: Buried in the Winterset Cemetery per the cemetery ledger. Her first name is taken from her 1904 marriage to Henry Martino and her middle name from the 1905 Iowa Census.
