Word was received here telling of the death of David Brinson of Nickerson Kansas who was a few months past 100 years old. The deceased was an uncle of William Brinson and was one of the very first settlers in Madison county. He came to Madison county in 1848 and rented the land now owned by W. P. Rhyno in Douglas township.
