Death of Ralph Beach

Ralph, the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Oren R. Beach, died at the Beach home in Des Moines on Monday, April 23, after five weeks’ illness. The lad first had whooping cough, then scarlet fever with pneumonia complications which caused death. He was one day less than five years old.

The body was brought to Winterset for burial on Wednesday morning, prayer service being held at the cemetery conducted by Rev. LeRoy C. Cooley.

Mr. and Mrs. Beach and family have the deep sympathy of their many old friends here, in the loss of their son.
