St. Charles -

Mrs. Charley Trotter, who has been sick for a long time, passed away at her home near Hanley last Saturday afternoon at 2:30.

She leaves a husband, one son, eight brothers and one sister to mourn her loss, also an aged father.

Funeral services were held her Monday at 2:30 at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. A. E. George, and her remains were laid to rest at the St. Charles cemetery.

Coordinator's note: The deceased was Ludweka in the 1885 Iowa Census. Her middle name is found in the 1880 Census. Starting in 1905, all the censuses and her Iowa Death Certificate had "Weakie" as her first name.
