Obituary

Mrs. Wm. Davis, formerly Lizzie Simpson, was born in Madison county, Ia., March 9, 1884, and died at her home near St. Charles, Ia. Nov. 28, 1908. She was united in marriage to Wm. Davis Dec. 24, 1907. She became a member of the Hanley M.E. church in 1902 under the pastorate of Rev. Palmer.

Those left to mourn her loss are her husband and baby, father, mother, one sister and two brothers. The funeral services were held Monday in the M.E. church conducted by Rev. Armstrong, and interment was made in the Brush Ridge cemetery.

St. Charles

Mrs. Lizzie Simpson Davis passed away Saturday, after an illness since last August. She was at the time of her death past twenty-six years old. She was united in marriage to Wm. Davis, Dec. 3d, 1907, and leaves a young babe. The funeral services were held at the M.E. church at St. Charles Monday forenoon, conducted by Rev. A. W. Armstrong, and interment made at Blair Chapel cemetery.
