Mrs. Charles Cade

Rosalena, daughter of Andrew and Catherine Oldham, was born in Muskingum county, Ohio March 25, 1851, departed this life April 14, 1914, age 63 years and 20 days.

She came to this county with her parents at the age of six years, of which she has been a resident until her death.

She was united in marriage to Charles Dec. 31, 1875. To this union was born eight children, the eldest and the youngest dying in infancy.

She is survived by the husband and six children, Fred and Mrs. Frances Eisle of near Earlham, Edith, of California; Grace, Anna and Albert in the home; also one brother, John Oldham of Winterset, all being present during her illness and death except Edith.

She was a member of the Fairview M. E. church nearly all her residence here. She was a lover of good books and a kind and loving wife and mother. She had been a sufferer for nearly 15 years and those who were in the home and cared for her will always remember her as a patient and cheerful example.

Funeral services were held April 18th at the Fairview church by Rev. J. S. Davis and burial in the same cemetery.
