Death of ETTA THORNBURG BROWN

Word was received here Monday of the death of Mrs. Etta Brown at Bisbee, Arizona, where she underwent a surgical operation on April 22d, from the effects of which she died five days later.

Mrs. Brown was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Thornburg, who were formerly Winterset residents but now reside at Oakdale, Nebraska.

Etta Thornburg was born at Winterset, Iowa, November 6, 1871, and went with her parents to Oakdale, Neb. on September 25, 1885. She was married to Willis Brown of Oakdale on December 24, 1891. In 1894 she with her husband removed to Phoenix, Arizona, and a few years later to Naco. She leaves besides her parents, and three sisters in Nebraska, a husband and two little children, aged eight and ten, and to all the deepest sympathy is extended by the many relatives and friends living in Winterset.
