A great grief and sorrow has again come to the people of this locality, when Mrs. Aaron Linn closed her eyes in the last long sleep Sunday, May 31, at 4:00 o’clock p.m. Her sudden demise was a great shock to her family, to her relatives and to the friends who are numbered by the score.

Capitola B. Wight was born August 6, 1860, in Adair county. She was the third daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wight. She was united in marriage to Aaron Linn November 10, 1881. To this union there were born six children, five girls and one boy—Pearl now Mrs. M. Cline, Florence, now Mrs. G. Nelson, Blanche, Wight, Lavona and Ruth.

She has ever been a loving and helpful wife and mother and there has ever been perfect trust, love and loyalty shown by her to her loved ones.

She has lived nearly all her life in Adair county, was well known, highly respected and early loved by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at her late home Tuesday, June 2, at 10:00 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Barr. Interment was at the Dexter cemetery.

She will be long remembered for her kind sympathy and winning personality to all. She was a lover of all things that were pure and elevating. She was converted about fifteen years ago and joined the U. B. church at Gray and remained in same faith until her transition. All was done that physicians and loved ones could do, but she heard a voice calling, so she passed out not into a blind thoroughfare nor into the darkness, but into the dawn of a perfect day.

She also leaves to mourn her departure, beside the husband and children, many sister and brothers and hosts of near relatives.
