Margaret Loudenbeck was born in Pennsylvania, March 22, 1818, and departed this life March 15, 1908, at the age of eighty nine years, eleven months and twenty four days. Mrs. Loudenbeck was converted in young girlhood, and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, and remained a consistent member during the years of her strength.

She was married to Reuben Loudenbeck Aug. 24, 1832. To this union eleven children were born, five of whom are living.

Released from this earthly tabernacle, she had gone to join the loved ones in that hand where they inhabitants never say they are sick, and where all tears are wiped away.

The funeral took place Monday afternoon, March 16 under the direction of the pastor of the M.E. church of Earlham, Iowa. The remains were laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Penn Center cemetery.
