Mrs. McCollum, the aged mother of Jim McCollum, who lives southeast of town, died in the home of her daughter, Flora in Des Moines on Dec. 29.
She was one of the old settlers here, but for a good many years lived in Des Moines.
The body was brought to St. Charles for burial.
