Union Chapel

The remains of Miss Della Shepherd, formerly of St. Charles, but who at the time of her death lived near Des Moines, was brought to the home of her sister, Mrs. Calclazier, last Saturday night and was laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery Monday, at 3 o’clock p.m. The relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.

St. Charles

Miss Della Shepherd was born April 24, 1884 and died Jan. 25, 1908. They lived in St. Charles several years but about a year and a half ago went to Harvey, Iowa. She leaves an aged father, four sisters and three brothers to mourn her loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Nichols at the Church of Christ, in St. Charles, on Monday, at 2 p.m. and interment made in the St. Charles cemetery.
