HARRY HUNTER, Milton

Harry R. Hunter, 85, of Milton Died February 7, 2010, in McAllen, TX.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday February 13, 2010, in Milton Christian Church. Burial with military rites will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton. Visitation will open at 2 p.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with family present 5 to 7 p.m.

Gifts to a memorial to be designated later may be left at funeral home or church or mailed to family at 525 S.W. Westview Dr., Ankeny, IA 50023.

Harry was a conservation officer at state parks in Winterset, Oskaloosa, Milford, Bedford and Fayette. He was a WWII Veteran, a member of Milton Christian Church and American Legion, a 50-year Mason, had been active in Republican Party and was an Independent Marketing Director with Team National.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol Lilly (Don) of Ankeny, a son, Ross Hunter (Linda) of Minneapolis, MN, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Hazel Boyd of Milton. His wife, Mary and 4 sisters preceded him in death.
