CITY BRIEFS

William Gilpin, a man about fifty years old, residing in a little tumble down shack in the south part of the city, died Tuesday, the funeral occurring the following day. Gilpin had been ill for months, and was a county charge.

Since coming back from Wyoming where he lived several years he has been in very poor health. He was a plasterer by trade, and once did a good business.
