BONNIE MOORE, BOONE

Bonnie Johnson Moore, 54, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, after a lengthy battle with Wegeners, an auto-immune disease.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare, with burial at Union Chapel Cemetery near St. Charles.

Bonnie Johnson was born April 9, 1955, to William and Dorothy Johnson in Winterset. She was raised on the family farm between St. Charles and Winterset. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1973. Her marriage to David Moore took place August 3, 1990, in Boone.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Johnson, and a niece, Krista Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband, David Moore of Boone; her mother, Dorothy Johnson of Winterset; her siblings, Ben Johnson of Winterset, Susan Hamilton of Peru, Randal Johnson of Winterset, Gloria Stadtlander of Van Meter, and Sandy Johnson of Winterset; her father, Ernest Moore, Jr. of Des Moines; and a brother, Craig Moore of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
