Neighborhood News - St. Charles

Mrs. Rebecca McChesney, who has been ill at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sam Clarke for some months, died Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock.

She leaves one little boy, her father George Spence, and three sisters, Mrs. Andy Blair, Mrs. Sam Clarke and Lena Spence.

Funeral services were held in the U.P. church Thursday afternoon and interment made in the St. Charles cemetery.

Note: Rebecca's maiden name is listed in other records as Spencer. Her son's name was David McChesney.
