LAWRENCE KING DIED AT HOME SOUTH OF TOWN THURSDAY
Lawrence King died Thursday at his home south of town. Funeral services and burial were held at the St. Patrick’s church. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Robison and Mrs. Albert Swallow attended from here.

LAWRENCE KING, Cumming
Lawrence King, aged 96 years, passed away at his home in Lee township last Thursday morning, June 24, 1936. Mr. King was among the first settlers of the Irish settlement. He was a highly respected citizen in the community in which he lived.
His family was composed of six sons, and one daughter. His wife died a number of years ago. Two sons, Michael and Patrick also preceded him in death.
The remaining member of his family are John and Lawrence of Cumming, Frank of Bevington, William of Booneville and Mrs. J. P. Hanrahan of Prole.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Patrick's church in Cumming by Rev. Wm. Hahesey of Winterset. Interment was in the family lot in St. Patrick's cemetery.
