According to a message received here, the body of Mary Mack of Kentucky, is expected to arrive here today, Monday, for burial in the family lot, where her father and brother are buried.
Mary is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Mack, who formerly lived here for many years.

Marv Adeline Mack died at Bowling Green, Ky., at 2 p. m. on Friday, June 6. She was born on March 19, 1897, at Winterset, la., and in early youth, with her parents moved to St. Charles, Ia. where she lived till after the death of her father, Wilmoth E. Mack, five years later.
Soon after, the mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Mack, moved to Lincoln, Neb., where her now deceased daughter, Mary, could have the advantages of a college education. About two years ago Mary accompanied her mother to Bowling Green, Ky., where she could have further advantages In an educational line, and It was at this place that she was taken ill, and It was found necessary to perform several serious operations, which resulted in her death.
During her short life she had made a marked success In her school work and was a favorite with teachers and class mates, and just at the time that her young and promising life was budding Into womanhood, she was called from this life.
Mary was an accomplished girl and respected by all. She was ambitious, generous and kind - thinker of good thoughts and a doer of good deeds. She was the constant companion of her widowed mother and to her she was sunshine, flower and vine. Home and mother meant much to her and her gentleness and lovable characteristics won the admiration of all who knew her.
When she became seriously ill messages were sent to her brothers, O. B. Mack, W. E. Mack and C. F. Mack of Des Moines, and also her sisters, Mrs. Charles B. Marine of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. J. E. Winters of Lincoln, Neb. Two of her brothers made the long trip to her bedside, but in spite of the best medical aid and the care of skilled nurses, recovery was impossible.
Short and impressive funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W. W. Williams Thursday, June 12, art 5 p. m. , at St. Charles, Ia., where she had lived when a child, and in the beautiful St. Charles cemetery she was carried to be placed by the side of her father and brother.
