Local Tips

Henry Martino died at his home in the southwest part of town last Saturday morning. He had been suffering from a cancer of the stomach for some time and was taken to Des Moines about two weeks ago to have an operation performed. The doctors refused to perform the operation as it would certainly kill him. He was brought back home but lived only a few days.

The funeral occurred from the home Sunday and he was interred in the Rock City cemetery.
