Death of Mrs. Anna Miller

Mrs. Anna Miller, an old time resident of this county died last Thursday night at the county home from an illness of stomach trouble of a month's duration, at the age of 72 years, Mrs. Miller was raised in the town, and over 40 years ago, her father, Mr. O'Neal, had a shoe store at Peru.

After her marriage to Mr. Miller, she lived in Washington, where her husband and only child died. After that, Mrs. Miller came back here and served as housekeeper for a number of Winterset families. Her health began to fail her almost three months ago, and having no relatives here she went in the county farm just a month ago. One sister, who resides in Boston, survives her.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Tidrick's undertaking parlors and burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
