Mrs. Hiram Leach of this place died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Egy of Lincoln township, where she went for a visit about two weeks ago.
The deceased was seventy-one years of age and leaves a husband and family, all of whom are of manhood and womanhood. She had been in poor health for the past year and the direct cause of her death was cancer.

Nancy M. Spincer was born March 31, 1832, in Knoxville, Knox county, Illinois and died June 8, 1904, aged 72 years.
She was married to Hyram Leech June 4, 1849 at Monmouth, Warren county, Illinois, and lived with her husband 55 years. To this union there were born eleven children, two dying while infants. The nine left are grown and have families.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her aged husband, five sons, four daughters, many grandchildren and quite a number of great grand children, besides a multitude of friends.
The funeral was held from the home of her son-in-law, west of Winterset, June 9, 1904, conducted by John H. Swift, pastor of the Church of Christ, at Winterset. Many were the friends, relatives and neighbors who followed her to her last resting place.
