Mrs. Nicholas Schoenenburger mother of Henry, John, Anthony and Edward Schoenenburger, died at the home of her son Edward in Monroe township May 4th. She was 79 years old and had been a resident of Iowa since 1853. She was the mother of 10 children, six of whom survive her. The funeral was held Thursday, and the body interred in the cemetery at Peru.

Local Tips

Mrs. N. Schoenenberger died at the home of her son, Ed. in Monroe township on Wednesday morning at seven o’clock. The funeral took place today at East Peru. She leaves four sons and three daughters to mourn her loss. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.

The body of Grandma Shoenenberger was laid beside her husband in the Peru cemetery on the fifth.
