We have just learned of the death of Perry Norris, who lives just north of the Burg. Have not learned yet as to when the funeral will be held.

Obituary

Perry Norris was born in Crawford Co., Ind. August 3rd, 1824 and died Apr. 23, 1904, aged 79 years 8 months and 19 days. Mr. Norris was one of the old settlers in this county and was well and favorably known coming to the county in 1879. He was married to Ellen Skiles in 1846, who after sharing the cares and joys of life, died on Jan. 28, 1888. He leaves three sons and one daughter to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held at the church Sunday at 11 o’clock, Rev. M. H. Booth officiating, and the body was interred in the Wight cemetery.
