Again death has visited this community. This time it is Mother Foster, wife of Lewis Foster. Nearly three years ago she sustained a broken hip and all these long weary months has been a sufferer from which she was released by death on the evening of the 1st of April. The funeral was held at the home conducted by Rev. J. H. Creger.

On April 1st Grandma Foster, who has for a long time been a severe sufferer passed to her reward and died at the home of her son-in-law, L. W. Hiatt. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Creger.

Note: Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
