Pearl, the young wife of O. H. Archer, who has heretofore been reported in these items as dangerously ill with consumption, died at the home of her foster parents, Daniel and Mrs. DeHaven just west of the city, at three o’clock Monday morning. Since the return of the party from the Pacific coast, where they had spent several months in vain attempt to benefit her declining health, they have occupied the DeHaven home where every effort possible has been put forth to make her comfortable as could be in her hopeless condition.
Besides the DeHaven couple, who reared her, a homeless orphan, and regarded her with the same love and interest they would one of their own, she leaves a husband and two small children.
The funeral will occur on Wednesday from the residence. Sympathy for the bereaved is in no manner withheld.
