RICHARD McKEIG, 89, Died Here Monday

Richard McKeig, a patient at the Shoemaker Nursing home in Winterset for the last 10 weeks, died there Monday, July 14, 1947, at the age of 89 years.

Mr. McKeig was a long-time resident of near Charles City, where he farmed for many years. For the last four years he had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Kilpatrick of Lorimor.

Nearest surviving relatives are the daughter; and two grandsons, Max Kilpatrick of Winterset and Clyde Kilpatrick of Lorimor.

Funeral services wil be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Watts Funeral home in Lorimor. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
