Bersheeba Eavens was born at Ashridge, Brown county, Ohio, Feb. 8, 1826 and died at her home in Macksburg, Iowa April 1, 1902, aged 76 years 1 month and 23 days. She lived with her parents in Brown county, Ohio until Nov. 14, 1847 when she was united in marriage to E. A. Pindell. In 1854 they moved to Madison county and lived here for six years. They then went back to Brown county, Ohio and lived there for eight years, when they again came to Madison county in 1869. In 1882 she was bereaved of her husband. Mrs. Pindell was the mother of two children, one daughter Fannie, the wife of J. S. Abbott and James M. both of Macksburg, Iowa. Mrs. Pindell was a devoted wife, an earnest Christian, an attentive mother, a kind neighbor and beloved by all who knew her. The funeral was conducted from the M.E. church in Macksburg by Rev. C. Knoll assisted by Elder Cross. The remains were laid at rest in the Moon cemetery April 3, 1902. We commend the bereaved to the kind care of our Heavenly Father.
