Mrs. A. E. Hills died at her home in the city on Tuesday evening. Mr. Hills is in a critical condition and it is thought that he cannot recover.

Mrs. A. D. Hills died at the residence in the south part of the city, Tuesday evening. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon, Rev. McDowell of the Baptist church preaching the funeral sermon.

Mrs. Hills came to Madison county in the sixties and has lived in Winterset many years. She was not quite seventy-five years old. She was the mother of nine children only four of whom survive her.

She had many friends in the city and country and has been a member of the Baptist church of this city for nearly forty years.
