Little Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McBride Accidentally Hanged While Playing in Haymow
Earlham, April 22.—The 3 ½ year old daughter of John McBride, living near here, was choked to death Saturday evening by a scarf around her neck, which caught on a nail as she was descending a ladder leading from a hay mow in the barn. She slipped and fell before assistance could reach her she was dead.—Des Moines Register
