Page 2Death of Mrs. Shields
Mrs. Shields, more commonly known as “Grandma Shields,” died at her home in Jackson township on Sunday afternoon. She was quite an elderly lady, being very nearly ninety years of age. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, the body being taken to Pitzer for burial.

Mrs. Shields, Sr., died September 22d at the home of her son, Crete, and was buried in the grave yard opposite Mr. Aitcheson’s Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted at the Pitzer church by Rev. Finney.
