The funeral of Ray, the crippled child of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith, of Scott township, was held at the residence on Monday by Rev. L. E. Follansbee, and the remains were buried in the Winterset cemetery.

Little Ray, the eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith, of Scott township died at the home of his parents Sunday May 11th. The little fellow was an invalid from birth. The funeral was conducted Monday by Rev. Follansbee and the interment took place in the Winterset cemetery.
