Died

At his home in this city, at 10:30 o’clock, Tuesday evening, Jan. 29, 1901, Frank Schoonover.

The deceased was born in Marion county, Iowa, March 12, 1876. He was a member of the W.O.W., in which order he carried insurance to the amount of $1000. He was also a member of the Winterset Labor Union.

The funeral occurred from the house this afternoon and was conducted by the two orders to which he belonged, Rev. Follansbee preaching the sermon.

The deceased had been ill but a short time. He was an employee in the marble works of Clark & Son, and through respect they suspended business Wednesday and a portion of today.

East Crawford

L. A. Smith and son, Willie, were called to Winterset last week by the death of Frank Schoonover, who was buried on the 31st of the month. He was buried in the Winterset cemetery under the auspices of the Woodman of the World and the Labor Union of which orders he was a member.

Frank Schoonover, a young marble cutter employed in Clark’s marble shop, died at the home of his mother in the east part of the city, Tuesday evening, of pneumonia. The funeral occurred on Thursday afternoon and was in charge of the W.O.W. and the Labor Union of which the unfortunate man was a member. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Follansbee.
