FRANK E. BELL OF WINTERSET DIES

Frank E. Bell of Winterset died Sunday, Jan. 19, at a Winterset nursing home at the age of 92 years.

Mr. Bell had been a Madison county resident most of his life. He was born in Union Township March 7, 1876, a son of Jasper N. and Louise Henderson Bell.

During his active life he engaged in farming and trucking. He was a former member of the Winterset chapter of the Masonic lodge. His religious affiliation was with the Blue Front Christian church.

Mr. Bell was married Feb. 27, 1901, to Bertie E Hartsook. Her death occurred in 1950.

He is survived by a son, Stanley Bell of Winterset; a step-grandson, Richard Kellogg, and three step-great grandchildren. His only daughter died in infancy.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. H. E. Borum, pastor of the First Baptist church here. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
