North Branch - Mrs. McCombs, of DeSoto, died at her home Thursday and was laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery Saturday afternoon.

Died, at her home in DeSoto, March 1st, Mrs. Harriet Miller, of heart disease. She will be better remembered as Mrs. Hugh McCombs of Madison county. She was married last August to Mr. Miller of Albion, Iowa, and since that time they have made their home in DeSoto.

She leaves one son, Harry McCombs of DeSoto. She was loved and esteemed by all who knew her, and is a loss to the community in which she lived.

The funeral services too place Saturday at the M.E. Church in DeSoto, conducted by Rev. Conray, and her body laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery.
